Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Kalba Kartu collects, why, and what rights you have. We keep data collection to a minimum and we never sell it or use it for advertising.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Viešoji įstaiga „Kalba Kartu“ (Registration No. 305684669), based in Vilnius, Lithuania. For any privacy question or request, email contacts@kalbakartu.lt.
Cookies & tracking
This website uses no cookies, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. Because of this, there is no cookie consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.
When you contact us
If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address and message you provide (and the topic you select). We use this only to read and reply to your message. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box; you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. The form is processed and the message delivered to us through Netlify, our website host. We keep enquiry messages for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete them.
Website hosting & logs
Our site is hosted by Netlify, which automatically records technical data such as your IP address and browser type in server logs to keep the site secure and running. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site safely. Netlify may process this data on servers outside the EU/EEA under standard contractual clauses.
Photos from our events
We sometimes publish photos from our meetings and walking tours. We do not photograph identifiable people without their consent, which is our legal basis for using these images. If you appear in a photo and want it removed, contact us and we will take it down.
Links to other services
Our site links to external services such as Facebook, Instagram, Telegram and Google Maps. When you click these links, those services handle your data under their own privacy policies — we are not responsible for them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal data, object to its processing, or receive a copy of it. To do so, email contacts@kalbakartu.lt. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, vdai.lrv.lt).
